Statement

My passion is photographing people, of all ages, cultures and circumstances.

So much can be seen of a person's life from one image of them – especially taken in their own environment. I endeavour to represent the people I photograph fairly, without judging or glamorizing, through communication and empathy, whether as a documentary image, portrait or for the press.

I obtained a B.A.(Hons) in photography at Salisbury in 2004 as a mature student. After travelling abroad for 2 years, I returned to England to set up my photography business. I'm based in Dorset, though my work takes me to different parts of the country.

Although most of my images take the form of documentary and travel photography. I have worked for charities, publishers, newspapers and also enjoy collaborating with another photographer, taking reportage wedding photos. I bring the same style to portrait photography.

I am experienced with both digital photography, and hand-printing to exhibition standard in colour and black and white.
